Seek advice on small monster fish...

bro, am been thinking of keeping a small predator fish and been reading some of the threads but most of the monster fish grew quite large.

i don't have a big tank but looking at keeping this monster in my bathroom in a big pail, like 10 galon size type, with substrate and plants.

anyone came across such fish that will grow no bigger than 6 inches?

maybe these?
1. oscar
2. dwarf channa
3. wolffish
4. ?

this fish will be my fish to cull all unwanted guppy and betta fries. tx...

Feels a bit cruel to keep a hunter/predator fish in a pail in your bathroom. I'd rather you give away your culls to other hobbyists or sell them away as feeders. 10gal or 38l of water is really a small amount of water for a carnivorous fish. Please re-think.

I think a minimum for these small monster fish will be a 2ft tank. 10gal pail has little floor area, the fish cannot swim around a lot, hard to miantain water parameters especially for larger fish which eat and shit a lot.

The smallest predatory fish that I can think of now is short bodied albino senegalus birchir.

Bigger fish excrete bigger waste, have to take note of water parameters.

Smaller tank will have bigger effect on water parameters as the water volume is little.

But they certainly do grow larger than your pail in no time.. But they are the most hardy fish ive seen.

Oscar grow up to 12"..
I ever seen a type of tetra with tooth.. They r nice to keep in school.. So far I nv seen one more than 3"..
Hope some bro here can help u as I am not sure with this small tetra with tooth.

If im not wrong they are called buck tooth tetras... very interesting to keep in a school...
