jus to share my 14inc blu snake head pluero... And my 12inc lugiburis Orinoco red pikes.. Tempted to add another piece blu snake head.. Any bros can advise is they can be comm?? Tks ( pls bear the lousy pics taken by phone.. Fish swimming to fast.)

nice snake.
this species can be commed,they are more tolerant with each other.
but very very difficult to mp trained.i can only think of marshy,i remember he successfully mp trained his blue/green three eyes snake

Channa barca is the way to go!!!



if i didn't remember wrongly, the whole of last year only stones had one shipment of a large Channa barca..

channa barca the best snakehead species in my opinion,but,....can only survive in cooler temp which is not many ppl want in their monstertank

yeah loh.. need to run chiller... very chor if big tank.. but i think there are cases where they survive warmer waters.. but dont risk such a beauty lah

Very nice channa pleuro!! I think it's easy to actually mp trained or even pellet trained them,, they are hardy and tolerant against hunger. Mine is a mp and pellet trained, from merely 3" fellow to a 12" within 2years.

when it's 10inc up its very difficult to convert to mp or pellet..infact my first piece starve 1.5 mth.. Still stubborn.. Traded away.. This piece i took it over from a gd friend which already mp .. Ikan billis train.
