Just wonder how many had tried it out.

Any reviews from any bro here?

This thread? http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...970&highlight=

Refering to post #10, he shared how he kept his pH low.

Alternatively, here in Sg, maybe we can consider using peats.
---edit---

I only successfully (and they breed) keep CRS in quartz based tank last time. Have not try soil-less.

But then again, this method is only viable if you have an 24 hour air conditioned room? Otherwise, I am not really too sure on how you are going to cool water down with your chiller. Any ideas?

can say the result is good for first 1 month nia. after that will jut maintain at ph 7. i believe minimum amount of soil will help too.

my dump tank has less than 1cm thickness of soil, but able to keep ph low at 6.5

My 2 tested tanks maintained at pH 7 too. The pH didn't seem to drop at all. They are already in the 2nd weeks and 3rd weeks. So far the reaults are still ok. Have also the pregnant ones gone for testing.

indo n sg water is different

we might need to use rain water if go soil less

but the first 10 mins of rain could pose another issue
