Default Mosura Soil

Need some inputs from Mosura Soil users here.

How good is the pH buffering effect?

It is clean and clear very fast.
Good soil for shrimps.

Not that great for plants.

Thanks. Got a pack yesterday for testing. Actually, I am more keen on how low it could hold the tank water pH. Got the info from Newlife that its can hold around pH 5.8 - 6.

In my process of resetting my tank.

I got it from Petmart.

Whether Aces Bros use that only, I am not sure. However, IMO ADA is still working well with most of the shrimps.

However....bro alan...my base is Benibachi and only the top layer is Mosura Soil.
And I added the Mosura soil with water filled up liao....And shrimp already inside...
But I empty each compartment shrimps when I filling up the surface.
0 death....lucky me...

But I notice the shrimp love the soil alot...but overall how long the soil can hold the pH is still an issue...

Thank you for your inputs. So Benibachi + Mosura soil -> pH 5.8 - 6.
