Just To Share My 2.8g Mini Forest Shrimp Tank
Sorry for the poor images...and poor deco of my tank
Will try to improve along the way, but I like to keep it with many plants and shades so the shrimps will feel comfy... Average Temp of the tank is around 26-27.5, so I can only keep certain shrimps only. |

Lols. It's very easy, just take some moss and and nanas to tie on nice driftwood, some java mosses here and there to let the shrimps hide and stem plants to maintain water cleanliness.
Good for the shrimps but not good for u for viewing... Haha. I have 20 shrimps but only get to see about 5 of them during non-feeding times. |

Me a Sis, brother
I have red cherries, firery red and Rilis. Thinking of getting couple more Rilis can snowballs. Rilis quite hard to find. I have 3 ugly wild neocardinas, lols Given to me by a friend who wanted to feed his fishes cos they don't look good la, but I told him to give it to me, can't bear to let him do that. I love shrimps. My tank temp can't make it with higher grade shrimps. About 26-27 on the average with cooling fan. |

[QUOTE=jowy;8458844]hi sis.. welcome to shrimp hobby... may i check with u wat is ur tank size?
do u ever tink of getting bigger tank or keeping higher grade shrimps like crs and etc?[/QUOTE Thanks bro. I did think of getting a bigger tank, cos I species like U say, CRS and also Sulawesi is very nice. My tank size is about 2.8 gallons, I think that's about only 1 ft. I would say pretty small, really thinking of upgrading to 4 gallons very soon. Til today, I'm very tempted each time I visit my LFS, but I need convince my family members first, cos by then I'll need to invest in chillers and stuff. They may nag at me. Lols. Maybe if I'm a guy, things maybe easier |
