Advice on CRS needed
Dear all,
Had set up a 422 planted tank recently which is undergoing water cycling n waiting for the plants to take roots. This tank will be a CRS tank. Had been using some ferts for the tank to enhance plant growth and abt 2 mths ltr will intro the CRS, but read that heavy metal will be harmful to them the 3 ferts i used the contents of the ferts SEACHEM Flourish Total Nitrogen 0.07% Available Phosphate ( P2O5) 0.01% Soluble Potash 0.37% Calcium (Ca) 0.14% Magnesium (Mg) 0.11% Sulfur (S) 0.2773% Boron (B) 0.009% Chlorine (Cl) 1.15% Cobalt (Co) 0.0004% Copper (Cu) 0.0001% Iron (Fe) 0.32% Manganese (Mn) 0.0118% Molybdenum (Mo) 0.0009% Sodium (Na) 0.13% Zinc (Zn) 0.0007% SEACHEM FloURISH ExCel Flourish Excel™ also has iron reducing properties which promote the ferrous state of iron (Fe+2), which is more easily utilized by plants than ferric iron (Fe+3). SEACHEM Phosphorus Total Phosphate (P2O5) 0.3% Soluble Potash (K2O) 0.2% Are the above ferts realli harmful? And if they are harmful, I am thinking of waiting for the plants to bloom for maybe a mth or 2, ditched the ferts, then do a mjor WC and let it cycled again for another 1week b4 introthe CRS, will this help? |

What type of plants you have?
How about a full tank shot? |

Wow nicely setup tank, but as metion from the other bro. If u are going for crs using fertilize will be a potential issue. However you might just throw few commando shrimp for few weeks and check for casualties. And once there are shrimp in there, please do notdose anymore fertilizer. After few weeks if shrimp doing ok, them u can slowly add more shrimps. Few more weeks if there are berried mama, guess your tank will be ready
