milkfish
sorry for a nood question,is amilkfish fw or sw fish?i was surprise tat after a fishing trip last fri ,left over some livebait (milkfish) so bring back for my aros n out of my surprise they mange to survie n comms wit aros now??will milk fish die after awhile??/

I do believe they can tolerate fw , ive seen them in fw tanks on a couple of occasions but not sure if it is good for the fish in the long term.

Ok according to wikipedia , the fry live in the sea before moving to brackish water mangrove habitats and/or lakes , then moving to the sea again to reproduce. And as they grow to 1+ meters i guess its ok to keep them.in a fw tank .

they are considered backrish water fish like kbl and mj so it can survive in both fresh and saltwater fish without having much water conversion
