I think it is due to pre-mature molting so call force or unnatural molting. I get that too when i forgotten whether i dose or not. On btw Eros can only dose on 10-14 frequency where gravidas is like 2 to 3 times weekly if u another hard shell molting death than dose everyday for a week should resolve the problem

How much you dose? How often you dose? It's hard to come to a conclusion without more information.

Also if what are your tank parameters? If the water is not suitable for the shrimp to molt and you force them to molt of course the shrimp will die.

I think you need to check that your GH is ok before dosing. Water too hard will already cause problems with natural molting. I would expect it to be worse if the molting is 'actificially' triggered.

I have to agree with elimmel, if the shrimps has thickened shell, force molt will cause them to die.

But if you dont force them to molt, they wont be able to live longer too, as their shell is too thick, they can't grow.

Another is water parameters are out or water quality is bad, a shrimp will not survive a molt after a molting of natural caused or not.

Let say all the water parameter is right how do we go about to justify or find out our water quality is bad cause i really curious on this. Can't seem to get my finger on what is wrong with my tank. previously.

I think it might be good to dose in another container of water first instead of dosing directly into the tank.
