Default Dymax W-5 and W-8

I'm considering one of these for my tank.. they look better than the normal pc fans, but according to the dymax website have a lower output of air..

are they good enough for a 1.5 feet tank and are they noisy?

Cheers

There's a review article on PFK on this fan. Follow this URL - http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.u...t.php?sid=3474

The line that says 'It is not the quietest of accessories...' made me changed my mind of buying one as I'm planning to use this in the bedroom and minimum noise level is a must.

avex.. if you're looking for one that'll be placed in the bedroom the tornado fan is as quiet as it gets imo.

I have the W-5 and it is noisy! Like a mini plane engine

I managed to modify it with lower voltage making it's RPM lower and thus not so noisy.

nice.. how is the airflow and how much did it cool the tank?

I'm quite reluctant to buy the normal PC fans and my current fan tanks up too much space, any suggestions?
