Crays caught in the act !

Just wanted to share with all the Cray kakis !

After finding a suitable mate for my male P. Alleni and after adjusting for 3 weeks in the tank, this morning, caught them in the act ! Hope to see offsprings soon. Any tips to share from the sifus on the coming weeks ?

Have also a video but the size is too big for imageshack to accept

Hershley , I read before to trigger crays to mate, the water temp should be reduced. I do not have a chiller but perhaps the rainy past few days attribute to the drop in water temp. Also the female was hiding 90% of the time so when the male spotted her out in the open, literally like r@pe scene.

bettafantastic, male is the dominant one on-top and pressing the female claws down while he goes about doing it.....really like r@pe scene. I have a video with the male " with the nasty action visible " but currently it is too big and the host site rejects my upload..Hope to find another site to share here.
