What's your filtration like?
Whats your tank size?
What medias are you using?
How many fishes are in your tank?
How much water did you change?
Did you use water conditioners?
What and how much do you feed your fish?

Bro could it be all ur BB die after that? I encounter similar problem after i wash all my media and 70% WC. Took me 2months to get it resolved. Now water clear like crystal. But i do add new filtration box for Xtra filter wool, add oyster shells and a strong water pump. But that is 1mth after the milky water 1st appear. Even a 90% water change does not help.

I also do water change without water conditioner for a 2yrs but after this incident im using water conditioner cos i see the water milky DAMN sian.

So maybe you can start by doing 20% WC weekly or twice a week with conditioner until your water clear.

Can describe more on your home-made filter?

Has this problem ever occurs previously during your WC?

Changing of 70% of water without using conditioner caused the BB in the filtration to crash. I suggest you cut down on the daily feeding and use tap water conditioners when wc.

Very likely to be bacteria bloom. It shield clr up once the bb is recultivated. In the meantime, change small amount of water once a week
