Unhappy Outbreak~~

Hi guys...

can anyone help to tell me what are the methods of effectively remove hair algae with seems to be growing out from my us fissiden meshes? seems to be getting more & more...

what are the causes of hair algae outbreak? can it be because i switched on my lights for too long a duration (8am-11pm)??

Previously I got such problem as well, but I raise my ph abit and the hair algae seen to cut down. Otto doesn't really take those algae.

Yes. I heard of this shrimp can help in clearing the hair algae. But I didn't add due to my tank is a CRS tank and no idea if they will crash not.

ohhh then i think better not =x some big ass amano shrimps look quite intimidating. used to keep it with cherry shrimps though. but comparatively better not risk it.

alvinchan80; i think the duration of your lighting is too long. do you have a constant Co2 input ?

amano seems too big and 'scary'... its not CRS safe also right? *worry*

i have no CO2 input... should i have constant CO2 input?

how to raise abit of my PH? by using PH-Up chemicals? or anything that I can use or put inside? Coral chips on my Gex soil?

On your lights for 8 hours can already.
I usually on for 6-8 hours.
The plants still grows green and healthy
