Default My CRS keep swimming up and down in tank

Just got my CRS today and use the drip method to let them get used to my tank water before releasing them into my tank. After releasing them into my tank, realise that all of them are swimming around my tank as if exploring their new home. But when i saw them keep swimming up to the surface and down to the bottom, i start to worry. Is this normal or is there anything wrong with my water?

Tank has been cycled for one month plus a few days and there are a few plants like fissidens on meshes and driftwood, and frogbits. This is my water parameter before i release them into my tank.
PH - 6.0
Ammonia - 0
NO2 - 0
NO3 - 40
GH - 8
KH - 1

Before i release them into the tank, their colour look faded and brown instead of red. But after a hour plus, they regained their white and red. Now it is their strange behaviour that worrys me. Hope u guys can help me out. Thanks.

how long u use the drip method before putting them into the tank?? Usually 3 to 6 hours for me before releasing.

ph a bit on the low side. Can try doing a water change and rise to 6.3. NO3 seems high to me as well.

Are they swimming frantically?? Or just like casual swimming?? Did they wriggle and twist here and there when swimming??

I use the dripping method for about 7 - 8 hours before release the CRS into my tank. Yah, i will do a water change to bring up my PH. As for the high nitrate level, hope the frogbits can do its job. Notice the CRS just swim casually up to the top and come down. Its not like they are swimming frantically. Dunno wat is wrong.

Haha is it? That is really freaking. Wonder is it normal? They seems better this moring though they do still swim up and down the tank. At least now they do stay at the bottom of the tank much longer.

Just WC and see how.
Have you started to feed them?

Hi bro Shrimptastic, how's your CRS now? Are they still swimming up and down the tank?
My CRS seems to have settle down in my tank already. Did not manage to do a WC as was out the whole day though both bro numbskull and bro bettafantastic advise to do so. When I reached home, saw some of them grazing on the fissidens meshes and some on the driftwood. Guess more or less, they have settle down.
Just now went to Green Chapter and bought a borneowild mineral rock and added in. Never do WC, instead top up my tank using overnight de-chlorine water to refill those water being used up for acclimating my CRS. Hope won't cause them any stress and can enjoy their life inside my tank.

Hmm...for this i'm not so sure. Maybe other bros in here can clear your doubts.
