shrimplets growing slowly...
Hi there, i have a couple of batches of shrimplets and i observe them daily, think is, they don't seem to be growing a lot.
they're feeding well,(the larger ones are able to join the adults during feeding).. the small ones just pick off algae n such from the glass or mosses. am only dosing minute amounts of mosura mineral plus... should i buy mosura exel? How do i ensure that the shrimplets are getting the nutrients they need? thanks! |

what species of shrimps is that?
Some species grow very fast, some slower. |

Understand how you feel to see they "grow". That is normal rate for CRS.

They don't grow very fast but they can find their own food among mosses. I usually have patient to watch them grow to become another mama shrimp. Mine snowballs & sakura have produced 3rd generations over a period of 9 months since I first started keeping them. So roughly you can calculate how long they take to concieve eggs to hatching shrimplets and grow big again.
