Default Further price of CRS

What would be good for the market like for the hobbyist and for the sellers of the future price for CRS?Let say higher end one,Should their price drop to be better, maintain or increase?
Give me your thoughts
thank you

buyers will always want to buy low while sellers will always want to sell high.

for me as a hobbyist, the lower the better of course

Do you think CRS would be face extinct for the next 3 year like ray and pleco. If not, all have to depend of the hobbists passion toward CRS , and the seller introduce new concept to it. From begining 1)start from CRS,
2) grading C to SSS , 3) mosura, 4) more white less red, or via and so on ..

Higher grades price will be quite stable cos not easy to breed and keep them alive.

If it's not bannable, very breedable to a certain extent....I think that the prices will drop but as always, premium prices will remain for premium quality.

But this will benefit buyers slightly as we get increasingly better quality at reasonable prices.

if prices keep falling its not a good sign as quality will drop over time too...also means oversupply in the market...just my 2 cents

Hi bro, beg to differ. Take aro as an example, would you agree that the quality of aros like reds and Xbs have improved over these 5 to 6 years? But the price is still around the same, if not lower? This is due to more supply and when it comes down to that, each farm will strive to give better value for less.
Could apply to CRS too.

Grade scale will be compressed and price will drop.

This is a good thing, it open up another wave of hobbyists whom previous found CRS too ex.

Quality maybe affected, but to those whom has not see or keep high quality, they can't tell or they simply dont mind a bit hit in quality with great reduction in price. There will be premium quality CRS around for those who wants quality.

Even at today, a hino can be $10 in Japan and in local. A hino can be $500 in Japan from famous bloodline/breeder.

For the general hobyyists, they will welcome price drop.

For general seller, they will want to maintain the price. Only 1 seller want the price drop, he should be the one has enough numbers of shrimps to slash price, he should have developed a method to breed the shrimps at low cost or his line of shrimps can be bred in large number with low cost setup.

A unlucky thing or a lucky thing for the others, winter in Japan is comming and they have just open up a low cost CRS wave. Surprised? Isn't it Japanese want high quality shrimps and dont mind pay for all? Not all, there a a large number of those who want premium quality, but there are even a larger number who just starts the hobby who want low price. Now Japan is taking in a lot of cheap (not necessary means that bad, excellent value for the price they are paying) CRS from other Asia countries and that why the price of local CRS can maintain. But not for long, if there is any big breeders in Singapore.
