Bro, Just use a rubber tube to suck it out. Suck it to a pail first. Normally I will use my fingers to place near the tube & watch the tank when doing. So that way will prevent many shrimplets being suck up. |

depending on the size of your tank, you can use a medium cup to scoop the water out for the partial water change without using a hose.

I use an air hose to suck out the water into a smal white pail, but everytime I need to check for any shrimplets being suck out or not.

I usually use a Tao Huay Tub to slowly scoop up the water from my 2FT tank...

i use my mini vacum.
at the inlet i put a cottom pad( the one we use for our face) tied with rubber band. then just leave it there to suck until the bottle is full. while im waiting, i watch tv. i never worry my shrimplets get sucked up. to change about 20% of my tank water, i take about... 30 mins but with a peace of mind. |
