Possible to mix soil?

Is it possible add a diff brand of soil to current tank due to lack of depth? I.E using ADA now and like to add GEX red pack?

please advice me~ thanks

u can even mix other substrate like ADA or Gex soil with Lapis sand or Riversand..

For me its 3inch depth is the best for planted tank.

i mix before. between ada and gex as well. did not see any difference. shouldn't pose any serious problems.

yeah all set soil added cycling the tank now but!!! suddenly my Hang on filter make alot noise, time to get a new one?
