basically low maintenance creatures. need abit of water and a bit of substrate so they can get out to land once in awhile. Cannot be kept fully aquatic in my experience , will drown. make sure your tank escape proof. cause they are escape artists. food wise they eat anything . really anything.

hope this helps

Info that i gathered abit hope it helps:

Freshwater species from sulawesi
Sexing typically for crabs:
the males have a narrow abdomen
the females have a wide one which nearly covers the entire underside.
Reproduce in fresh water with entirely developed offspring carrying the eggs.
Breeders are known to keep them in vivariums.

since its found in forest streams, the substrate should be "soil like"... at least that's what i think

quartz will do, I dont think substrate type for dry part is cruial if your tank has dry and wet part. For wet part, some pebbles at bottom will do.

For Geosesarma, they need large dry area. Those setup like a tank with water and a few rock for them to cling on is not good enough,
