you will still need a air pump, you got to bubble the brine shrimp eggs together wif the salt solution. and u will need a fine netting to separate the crust and the small bbs.

Think growing them to adults and not just hatching. I tried a few times but at most last into the 2nd to 3rd day then all died. Fed green water seem to make them last a bit longer. Also wonder how those farms managed to keep them alive.

hmm thanks for the info, but does adulthood includes breeding and reproducing? or does it just mean keeping them alive? |

I only hatch baby brine shrimps at home using the hatchery dish, very easy to use. Not really sure about raising them to adult but it's not easy. Keeping them alive is one big headache. I often get my adult brine shrimps at lfs. Bring home start packing them into smaller bags then tied and put all inside fridge. Keeping them cool will last them longer and fresher.

yup...i also heard that they die fast in freshwater...thats why im trying to find out if salt water is good enough for them or is there something else that must be added to the water to keep them alive
