Default Help: I got 2 cherry shrimps with eggs

1) Is it ok if the bottom of my tank is a very porous sponge? Those mesh type? Will the eggs drop through the sponge?

2) How many shrimplets will each batch give roughly?

congrats bro!
your eggs will hatch in around 20days. dun have to worry about your bottom. each batch depends on your female. if its a big mama. if can give out around 20+ or even 30+.. if its a first time mama around 10+ to 20+

Actually the 2 pregnant ones are newly bought from a shop in Serangoon North. Actually in th ebatch I bought there is a I think probably a Malaya shrimp, transparent but blue in colour. The rest are all cherry.

Yeah if they breed a lot I will tranfer the lot to a bigger tank.
