cross breeding shrimp :D
hi bros and sis!
as above, has anyone cross breed any type of shrimps? im keeping bee,green,blue and melayan shrimps together.. can any experts tell me which type of shrimp cross with which? any one's shrimp crossed b4? |

From what i know, bee will cross with crs and tiger shrimp. Not too sure abt malayan though, ha. will the shrimp pros pls step up. I'm also thinking of keeping neon green shrimp with crs. not too sure the outcome.

Green won't cross with CRS as far as i know.
But they will cross with Cherry and Blue. |

You mean Bee and CRS?? Yes, they will cross.
A simple rule to remember, those shrimps with strips patterns on them will cross with one another, e.g. Bee, CRS. Soild colour shrimps will cross too, e.g. Red Cherry, Green and Blue. Afterall they are from the same family. |

wah...omg...
i mixed cherry and malayan... wad do i get....my cherry pragnant leh... i scared later mix breed come out.. |

haha cherry and malayan is 1to1? meaning 1 male to 1 female? if not then chances of cherry fertilizing cherry is higher i tink.. i believe shrimps do have their preferences like how cories do.. however if the female big big den hard to say.. cuz like humans too... if we see a person of a diff race but looks damn hot.. we will be attracted too.. and in shrimp's perspective.. BIG AND FAT = DAMN HOT......
btw tiger bee crs and diamons can interbreed... cherries and malayan can too.. the rest im not sure. |

green/blue and can cross wif cherries.. best to keep 1 type per tank..
