Crayfish for my Local monster tank?

hi folks,

i got 2 3ft tank and wanted to setup a "Local(singapore) monster tank".

the fishes i want to keep are:
1) 1 walking Catfish - "TORSAT" - 20cm
2) 1 dwarf snakehead - 20cm
3) 3 Giant Pikehead - 18cm
4) 1-3 Climbing perch - 25cm
all are predatory fishes.

i was thinking to make the tank more interesting by keeping some other "ODDBALLS" and came up with the idea of crayfish etc...
i dun think frogs or newts can survive in this monster tank LOL!
and turtles dirty the water easily.

any interesting freshwater crayfish, crabs, shrimps, snails to recommed for this type of setup?

how large do those crayfish in LFS grow? is these crayfish dangerous to my fishes?

bro, are you referring to an Australian yabby(crayfish)?

all ur fish seems more dangerous to crays leh. You'll need to get bigger size one. Guide would be that the size of the cray should be bigger than the size of their mouths.

Still you will need ample of hiding places for them to hide esp during their moults. But what i fear would be crays starving as food can't reach them. I have koi, catfish and aro in my comm, they always snatch for the sinking pellets if they see them. Thus i always have to fast hand fast leg, drop floating pellets at 1 end, den drop sinking pellets at the other.

dun think there are any local yabby species in SG...
those in our waterways should be introduced by pet trade

take the common blue lor. Cheap and hardy. C328 polyart there have alot of bigbig ones. So far mine ard 6-8" liddat. Very hard for them to get food to grow enough for a moult in a comm with species more predatory than them.

Not recommended at all bro. There is little chance the cray will survive once it moults. Unless you have the time and are willing to monitor the cray everyday, isolate it just in time when there are signs of an impending moult, and reintroduce it when the new shell hardens. Even so, there will be times when you could be not in time to save the cray from impending doom.
