Walao you got sharp eyes for detail. It was housed in a tank with some other monsters in a RESTAURANT! Meant for display only but I guess it can be on the plate if someone pay generously for it.

not in SG right?

cos such critters are deemed to be illegal..
and can harm out local fauna if released..

Both you n bsplenden are right. I think it is a alligator snapping turtle. 1st time seeing live in front of me. Looks awesome.

just saw one in JB pet shop, interesting thing is it got a worm-like feature on it's tongue to attract fishes
