They're very placid in my opinion sticking to the bottom of the tank all the time, you must make sure they get enough food. I had 5 2" ones in a 2ft tank with sand and bogwood and overnight the shrimp and goldfish I put in would be eaten up. Before this batch I had 2 4" ones with a chaca chaca. i know that the water parameters for both fish are different but they both did well. The frogmouth still remains to be one of my favourite fish. I also think these "Stonefish" look better with bogwood and a sandy bottom.

While fishing last year in ubin, my friends caught one of them.

Bro if i'm not wrong these fish are actually saltwater converted to freshwater. Or braskish water areas.

Try feeding them live fish. They're carnivorous fish. Dun think they'll take frozen worms.
