Bro Goofy...will pop by one day to njoy ur spec and talk fahaka.

Bro Freshman...yeah....should have chosen coral sand, but got spare black quartz, so dun wanna waste it. Might as well use it for the fahaka tank. Now fahaka also blend in with the sand liao... But nevermind la....i like the scaping.

me dun really fancy black quartz liao... too big grain size, with sharp edges... took all out from my pleco tank liao....

fahaka skin very rubbery.. or at least it looks like that... ... so shd be ok a few sharp quartz....

hahahaha.... u can actually do a 3ft DP tank.... can fit abt 20 in there...

And with lots of hiding spaces... if want to see them, dun use plants.... use nice DW, branchy BW, rocks or pots.... just enough for them to hide when threatened or conflict...

generally they will only 'siam' with a burst of speed... then stop chasing each other liao....

yeah....plecos are like cories....not suitable for large grain size gravel and black/red quartz......

I wanted to find red quartz and do something like urs....but cant find leh.

can try coral or white river sand leh.... tat time never heed the advice from u guys.... perhaps sand not that hard to maintain also... and fahaka definitely likes it in there...
