Default Chiller Running Cost

Hi,

Would like to find out what is the estimated electricity cost per day of running a chiller to keep water at 25C for a 3'x1.5'x1.5' tank.

Any info appreciated.
Thanks

Wow bro, you keep it at 25 D.C so low, mine I keep it at 27 D.C. At 1st my bill was between $100 to $110, after using chiller, it was $180++ per month. But must also depend on the heat produce by lighting, powerheads etc.. Hmm forgot to add, when I start to use chiller, I start using Mh (250 watt) light also, so I think the chiller electricity cost around $50 per month.

it really depends on your room temperature, type of chiller use, type of lights used etc... but u can estimate the running cost of your chiller with some simple calculations if u know the power consumption of your chiller and the number of hours it runs per day.
