definitely not recommended to run 1/4 for a 4ft..ended up your chiller will run alot much harder and for longer period..causing it easier to breakdown
(assuming running a 1litre engine for a SUV) I running a 1/2 hp for a 3ft but then again brand of difference chiller will have difference performance... Why don't u source for another brand which the size of the chiller can fit into your compartment? such as teco? |

if yes, the dimension is the same as 1/4HP 385×340×390. IMO, I suppose under normal circumstances 1/4HP should be enough if you have a lower flowrate powerhead to pump your chiller. |

Bro Monster1975, I have seen a tank running with RESUN CL-280 1/10HP running 3x2x2 (4ft) for 2 year. So, I suppose Daeli 1/4HP can do a better job running 4x2.5x2 (near 6ft).

I dnt know issit true or not...but I heard from 1 lfs owner teaching his customer to rise up his chiller, like putting it on a stood or whatsoever. The idea for this is the water running thus have a shorter distance for the chiller causing it not so exhausted...jus a suggestion to u...
