Default How to pellet train IT?

I have a group of 6 IT, different sizes. Smallest 2 inches Biggest 4 inches. Currently I'm training them to eat mp. Ultimately I wish they can feed on pellets.

Inside the tank , there is 1 peacock bass & 2 parrot fishes. I had been throwing some Hikari Carnivore pellets in but only the parrot fishes are eating.

Any methods to train them eat pellets ultimately? How long can I starve them?

Stop feeding MP. Just throw Hikari Carnivore pellets for parrot fish to eat. Monkey see monkey do......

Make a slice cut in the MP that you are feeding and stuff in the pellet. Let them get used to the taste of pellet. Slowly convert them to full pellet.

Quite challenging, some tigers will die die don't eat pellets, but you can try also soak your pellets with mp.

Cool

My last try on mini ITs of 8, 50% success rate converted. Already had a bigger IT that's pellet trained to let them monkey see monkey do.

Good luck to you bro.
