I agree bro that these 3 terms are actually referring to the same species datnoid pulcher. However, since the ban from export of ST (Siamese Tiger) by the thai king's order many years back, how are we still able to import real ST from thailand? We can even see smaller size "ST" even though breeding wasn't successful. Isn't it weird?
If the datnoid pulcher is imported from other sources like from Vietnam or Cambodia, we shouldn't be mislead that the fish is an ST. Seller should be truthful about the source and not claiming the fish to be an ST. Worst still got people are trying to pass off 3 bar ITs as ST and sell at premium prices... sigh... This is my way of looking at it... |

http://stonesaquarium.blogspot.sg/search/label/news?m=1 If you tell me you can find small size (less than 12") real ST from thailand, then your source from thailand is really powerful that they managed to successfully bred real ST in Thailand. However one thing is for sure, if they are really "imported" from Thailand, then it must be thru an illegal means or smuggled out one. It's like during the old china time whereby national treasures are smmugled out of the country. So by buying from the real source, isn't one committing a crimes of buying/receiving banned item? |
