Just a pity that the "Shampoo" ferts (that's what my colleagues call it) doesn't work well with high tech tanks. Was hoping that running the entire BW range would work well, but it seems like I still have to fall back on EI dosing.

Instead of using Mosura Mineral Plus, ever considered using BW GH Up instead? GH Up just saved my tank today!
I'm too used to using RO water to do wc at home, so today when I did wc for my office tank, I actually forgot to use Seachem Prime! Luckily I dosed my usual dose of GH Up, which is a GH booster + Antichlorine, so the chlorine in the tap water got neutralized. If I had used another brand's GH booster like Mosura or Salty Shrimp, I think I'll be rebooting my tank already |

I think there are pros and cons to having two in one as well though. If you had to dose antichlorine with gh booster to a tank that was already high in gh. Wouldn't it make the situation worse? Although it is convenient, I believe there is no 'cure all' solution, it all depends on the needs of the situation. You were lucky that you happened to use the correct solution for the required situation.
