Clove oil can be used to euthanise fishes. It's just an overdose of an anaesthetic.

Alternatively, you can use clove oil as an anaesthetic, and then euthanise the fish with other methods such as freezing or decapitation.

I'll suggest to just give the culls away. Someone living near you will probably appreciate some free feeders. Save the trouble of euthanising fishes, and also benefit someone here.

Some feedback using clove oil is its smelly like hell......

Therefore culling by using them as feeders is preferred. I am already doing so with the guppy fries by feeding to my bettas, now need to find ways to cull the betta fries....
