Default Young Channa Micropeltes

Hi was around guilin a while back and saw a small group , not school , group of baby channa micropeltes , mother was probably taken home by baiters , I may rescue them , but can they come up for air at their size ? Their about 2 - 3 inches only .

How do you plan to rescue them?

Yes they will come up for air at that size. I think regardless of size, they will come up for air.

I think they rely on their instincts to avoid predators so they stay very near the banks , easy to scoop them up

They develop their labyrinth organs very early just after few weeks from hatching. They are hardy fish in general
