Default Preparation of Freeze Dried Food

Hi guys, I've recently joined in the fish keeping hobby. Like any one of you out there, im really excited, interested and concerned with my fish diet. Earlier this morning, I bought Hikari Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp and was wondering how I should go about offering them to my fishes.

I've done a check online and there were minimal information on how to prepare it. The only information I've gotten was, to do a pre soaking of the dried cubes before putting them into the tank ( am I suppose to pour the entire thing in or just mainly scooped up the shrimps and dump the remaining dirty messy liquid away ? ) I've also read that some just pop the dried cube into the tank. Wouldn't that dirty the quality of the water ?

Also there were people saying that Freeze Dried foods cause bloating. Is that true ?

Lastly I have only 4 male endlers, 4 rummy nose tetra and I'm intending to get about 8-10 Boraras Brigittae. The question is should I break the single dried cubes into 2 for separate feeding session cause it does look like a huge chuck.

Thanks for all the help!

I will soak the cube in tank water in a small bowl ( soya sauce kind ) then drain the dirty wate using a fine scifferr. I do it as least twice as I realised the liquid is really cloudy. Then I use a toothpick scrape and feed bit by bit. I stop feeling them FD brine shrimp as most of my endlers started to be less active. It was a experiment as I was feeding freshly hatched baby brine shrimp and wannted to cut cost.
