http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ca/volume...s/brackish.htm

its mentioned "
Moss balls and Java moss also do well at SG 1.005 as well".. but my SG is about 1.012... so maybe it won't grow that well.. I'll try to get some java moss too..

hmm... coral sand.. ok.. will look for some on my next visit to the LFS..

yah.. but the characteristics are quite different... they like to hide a lot... and if they are not hiding, they really swim around a lot..

i still can't tell them apart (if you meant the gender) coz its so small... hopefully some other experts could share some light on this? issit the same as crs? or other shrimps?

I had sulawesi shrimps in coral sand. Doing fine.

Coral sand tends to push ph higher, while soil brings it down.

Reason for using sulawesi is to bring across the msg that shrimps that requires high ph do well in coral sand thus far.

yes, setup is similar to that of sulawesi shrimp tank. And keep the specific gravity in brackish range.
