ok, i found some info on plants in brackish..

I'll try to get some java moss too.. hmm... coral sand.. ok.. will look for some on my next visit to the LFS.. Thanks all so much! |

I had sulawesi shrimps in coral sand. Doing fine.
Coral sand tends to push ph higher, while soil brings it down. Reason for using sulawesi is to bring across the msg that shrimps that requires high ph do well in coral sand thus far. |

yes, setup is similar to that of sulawesi shrimp tank. And keep the specific gravity in brackish range.
