Dymax IQ5 Shrimp Tank Setup (Photos)
Here is my shrimp tank setup using the Dymax IQ5 13L Acrylic tank. Inside are LS of various dwarf shrimps including CRS, cherry, yellow, sakura, orange and a royal whiptail catfish (helicopter fish). The water is kept at pH 6.6, temperature maintained at 27C, and CO2is diffused into the tank to keep the plants green and healthy.

Ehh... Small tank packed with this much shrimps is not very ideal. Shiok to see them pack together but won't be ideal living enviroment in there.

yeah, that's why i have to keep checking water parameters. anyway i'm thinking of upgrading to a bigger tank soon. Double the size would be good. I've read some articles here on substrate prep, seems like it's a necessity to add all the xtras into the soil when setting up the tank. Is it really that effective?
