Default Bad Moult : Crayfish

My crayfish had a bad moult at the left pincer, its now deformed and it cant open or close, should i snip it off? will it grow again? or i leave it till next moult?

I would pull it off by twisting it. Cheers!

If its deformed than remove it, it will just get in its way. Yes it will grow back, but will be small first and slowly grow bigger with every subsequent molt .

also, how do u tell a female from a male? i know its from the underside but still..
