I would think other small fishes. Tetras, guppies, a dwarf puffer or two, some barbs and maybe even the odd gourami here and there. Infinite possibilities really.

The Swordtail should be kept in groups of more females than ma and is compatible with the Betta (Siamese Fighting), Black Neon Tetra, Black Skirt Tetra, Bleeding Heart Tetra, Blind Cave Tetra, Bloodfin, Bosemani Rainbow, Buenos Aires Tetra, Cherry Barb, Chinese Algae Eater, Clown Loach, Colombian Tetra, Congo Tetra, Corydoras Catfish, Croaking Gourami, Diamond Tetra, Dwarf Gourami, Dwarf Neon Rainbow, Emperor Tetra, Featherfin Squeaker, Flame Tetra, Flying Fox, Gardneri Killifish, Glass Catfish, GloFish, Head-and-Tail-Light Tetra, Kribensis, Kuhli Loach, Lemon Tetra, Molly, Otto Catfish, Penguin Tetra, Peppermint Pleco L030, Platy, Pleco (Common), Pristella Tetra, Red Base Tetra, Red Eye Tetra, Rosy Barb, Rummynose Tetra, Serpae Tetra, Siamese Algae Eater, Silver Dollar, Silver Tip Tetra, Sparkling Gourami, Tiger Barb, Upsidedown Catfish, Zebra Danio.

Maybe should ask what CANNOT be kept with swordtails, e.g. aro, rays, tiger, gatf, bichir, km, etc.
