Some advice
Hi,
I got a community tank (2 feet) with CPDs, Neon Tetras, a Platy, and some guppies. I recently added some more neons which i think might have Neon Tetra Disease, cause every single Neon Tetra died and it took all my CPDs as well. The guppies and platy seem to have survived it. No more deaths since the last week. How do I ensure the disease is gone b4 I add anymore fish? Anyway, lesson learnt: Quarantine your fish before adding to community tank. p.s. All water parameters were good. I tested them. |

Quarantine the fishes with medications for at least 3 days then after adding them to your community tank add medication to your community tank also

IMO, medication should be added as a last resort.
