algae eaters dying 1 by 1.
hi all. i need some help.
i cant figure out what is wrong with my tank. the CRS inside are fine. so are my BDS and Firereds. however, 2 Otos and 1 Golden Algae eater(found dead today) have dead mysteriously. i dont feed them anything cause people say they survive on algae alone. however, my tank is squeaky clean. no algae at all. could that be the reason why my algae eaters are all dead? how can i introduce more food(algae) for them? all my algae eaters are dead already though. |

Its not advisable to put algae eater in a tank with crs they are quite aggressive and may eat your beloved crs.

bro 3inone, from my experience, keeping cherry shrimp is much easier than keeping oto, especially if u want to maintain it at tip-top condition.
oto is like hungry ghost, it keeps eating. i find ketapang leave is quite ideal as food for both oto and shrimp. best part is don't have to worry about white worm appears in the tank due to over feeding. |

No algae means no food for cae so die lo.they need food apart from algae in the tanks. Mayb water too cold for cae.

thanks for recommendation. however all my algae eaters dead already :/ that leads me to another question: should i get algae eaters like Oto only when i have algae in my tank already? or i can include it anytime to prevent algae from accumulating? |
