Default Brackish water...

I read from a book that datniodes are brackish water fish.. So by adding marine salt will it make my water brackish? Current water gravity is 1.008. Need to bring it up to 1.015. will other fish like CL, SS, FF tolerate brackish water?

Tigers can tolerate brackish water but they have no need for brackish water. Normal freshwater with aquarium salt is fine.

The 3 fishes you mentioned, the CL definitely can't take brackish. Dunno about the other 2 but I don't think they thrive well.
