If you are afraid of the the flow rate been too fast, not to worry, because of all the pipes and media that the water needs to flow through..it will not be 1000l/h anymore. |

Hey bro.
Either 1) wind charm is right. I also last time bought a canister which stated a higher flowrate. cannot support my system. who thing went downhill. I got another canister just for my chiller. Cheap and good. Or 2) there is something wrong with your chiller. I am using the exact same chiller as you on a 2 feet tank. My canister flowrate is 900L/hr. My chiller kicks in about every hour. Also no decimal place. Also, do note that the new resuns have a heater, for maintaning water temp.. so sometimes it kick in, it might be heater? |

Hi Bro,
I checked on my chiller. The heater will never start as the thermostat temperature are always higher than the temp i set for the water. i not sure is my cannister problem or my thermostat problem. Sigh |

Yes...but still good for normal filtering.
By the way, my setup is canister > chiller > CO2 reactor > tank For me, I am using it with an external temperature sensor. Cost me about $20 to customize it on my own. Last edited by windcharm; 22-10-2010 at 03:24 PM. |
