Exclamation Shrimp Tank setup

Need help...!!

start to cycling my Dymax IQ3 tank & add in bacteria liquid on sun. Did a 30% water change without adding bacteria liquid on wed(28/7). Just measure my tank reading..

PH : 8
Ammonia : 0
Nitrate : 12.5
Temperature : 26c

So when will i did to change water again? How much water should i change? should i add in the bacteria liquid after the next water change onwards?
Thanks!!

Are you using this set up for CRS or sulawesi shrimps?

If it's for CRS the pH is way off. Do you use pH reducing soil?

Also add in some plants to absorb all the excess nitrates. The reading should be 0. If there's no livestock you can change up to 50% water. Can just add in bacteria liquid to maintain the bacteria levels.

Thanks for your reply. My tank setup for CRS and maybe some other type of shrimps. I do have plants in my tank. Thinking to change aleast 10% water every 3 days with add in of bacteria liquid every water change until the nitrite level 0. After that i will bring down my PH level. Will it be a good idea??
