Default Channa Pulchra comm with XB, PB and KBL

Hi all,

Anyone have any experience with comm of XB, PB and KBL with Channa Pulchra? What's their aggression with other tankmates? Anyone have tried comm before can care to share?

Me saw a few Pulchra at my LFS and a bit IBS wanna try comm one with my current comm of XB, PB and KBL.

Channa pulchra actually do better in colder water, as they are not tropical fishes.
Besides, both peacock bass and seabass will get big enough to eat the channa pulchra.
Channa pulchra aren't at all aggressive towards other tank mates in my experience.

Thanks for the heads up. But my research shows that pulchra can grow up to a maximum size of about 12", which should be slightly smaller then the peacock bass and sea bass. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I did consider the factor that pulchra prefer colder water, but if it's local breed, will the temperature of the water be a factor?

Pulchra are hardy for cold water fish, you can try it out.
They will usually not live as long as they're supposed to though.
Both pbass and seabass will grow much faster than the channa pulchra, both also get 2 feet and above.
I've had seabass eat skinny fish or almost equal length.
