For those interested the latin / scientific name is Lutjanus argentimaculatus, these are found in the sea but not far from shore. They enter brackish areas to spawn and the young if acclimatised well can remain in pure fresh water till a good size.
Not as aggresive as they look. |

qia chor are quite hardy fishes. i rmb catching it from pasir ris pay pond and leaving it in a styrofoam box for more than 1 hour without water. got home and put inside the freezer still can hear it jumping around.
