She bought it berried I think. Anyway green shrimps change to orangey is quite normal. Saw them in such color when I was in CRS haven even we know their tanks have recycle properly. After some time they will settle down to green again, thru my experience so no panic. Give them more places to hide (especially leafy corner) because green shrimps are quite shy compared to others.

Hi there, thanks for the comforting words... yes, i've noticed the reddish-orangey hue is not as apparent... most are not swimmimg that madly now, save for one... and it isn't even berried!!
loads of places for them to hide, noticed they seriously appreciate the piece of holey driftwood given by a friend... lots of holes for them to squeeze themselves in!

didn't manage to read up on acclimatising shrimps in this forum, maybe have not read up enough, didn't locate it in the sticky, could you please direct me?

Read about it in other forums though, do you mean the 'drip' method where it requires about 4 hours before shrimps can be introduced into the tank?

i find that it's probably the ideal method, however, since i do not usually have that much time, i do my 2,2half hour method of adding tank water to the shrimps' tub..
