Dead shrimps are 100% shrimp food..... most of the times, the other shrimps will pull to their hideout... so u wont be able to see it.

But i think you should not leave the dead shrimps in the water as it would cause an ammonia spike.

if your tank is big, 1 or 2 deal shrimps will not cause much water contamination.. the dead bodies will be gone soon as food

it really depend on tank size, filter type and what do you want the dead shrimp to do his last part of service? To feed other shrimps, to generate fertilizer for your plant or add on to rubbish disposal weight.

Normally, a matured filter is able to take the extra load of a few dead shrimps.

why dont u add a few helenas to yr tank ? they will clean up the dead bodies of the shrimp .... the remaining calcium shells will be eaten by other shrimp
