Bro mines set at 24 degree but cant chill it down. Eventhough it chills (can hear motor and stuff inside running) for less than 5 mins, it can only chill down .1 or .2 degrees. then it will run without the motor sound for 10 to 15 mins and the 3 mins cooldown period. Overnight my temp can go up 2 degrees. What i am doing now is that i place a fan (those silver metallic round table fan around 30cm) at the front grill and blow in 24/7. That helps my water temp to cooldown to my 24 degrees for now.

If i am not mistaken hc150 has the fan blowing inward. which is for fridges. Minimal to have 1ft of space. best is to avoid putting it against a wall. If you can, open up the chiller casing should expose the fan, its the big type. then power the chiller on. When it starts up the fan should start immediately. fan replacement is within your stated budget. can be brought to biotope to ask them to assess or can source yourself. But the root problem is unclear. My gut is that the fan is faulty. It is the no 1 killer of chillers.

If your chiller is ~5 yrs usage there is high chance not only the fan is spoilt.

that bad bro.like this means u need on fan and chiller together.extra electric charge.since now 24,have u try off the fan and see will the chiller temp maintain at 24.
