Hi guys,

I've used to kept these crabs about a few months ago in a 40 cm tank and at one point in time i actually had 5 of them.

Mine seems to be abit aggressive against each other and I had to seperate them into pairs of 2 and 1 alone.

Just some questions:

1. I'm aware that they require large around of land and little water , do we actually have to clean the soil or gravel oftenly? because dry gravel tend to be alittle smellier as we don't have a "filter" for them where decomposing takes place
For me, i dont clean the gravel or wash it, but i plant quite a lot of emmersed plants like crypts in my crabitat to absorb the nitrates.

2. If we have water, because I use to place a piece of DW and make it like a dam, so that beside the soil theres a pond of water. But how do we actually keep the water clean? as well as preventing the breeding of mosquitoes? the last time i place a guppy inside but the water gets dirty even faster.
I would advise frequent changing of water

Hope any bros have answers for me =) maybe ill get some again haha

they are really so adorable.
