Which fish is eating my plants?
Hi all
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but here goes. I have a tank with the following fish: - Tigers - Rays - Earth Eater - Clown Loach - Red Hook - Plecos - Aro I have plants on DW but I always find that they leaves end up bitten and floating. I have nanas and ferns. Any bros knows which of the above likely to be the culprit? Thanks for any input! |

Walau! Now 3 suspects... But dun think so cos these fellas never go near the plants. Also have a smiling catfish (think thats the name) but he never goes near the plants also... |

If you see bits and pieces of leaves floating then most likely is the Red Hook.
Pleco tends to "graze" on the surface. Probably you will see "hole" at the center of the leaf. |

It could highly be plants melting as a result of change in parameters/conditions - Most plants from LFS are grown and sold in emersed form. It will take some time for the plants to acclimatise and change to submersed form.
