How Long Does It Take For A Tank To Be Cycled Using Chemicals

Umm... What kind of chemicals are you referring to? Cycling involves the colonizing of beneficial bacteria, which will break down ammonia and nitrates. You can speed it up by adding bacteria but it will still take awhile for it to cycle, at least 2 weeks maybe? The first time i used my canister filter, i cycled for about a month. Guess the best thing to do is to keep testing your water, make sure ammonia and nitrates are at 0...
